Airsoft Recon is no longer hosting airsoft games.
After years of conducting quality overnight simulation games, the club has decided to end this practice. We've seen a drop in attendance from those desiring the type of games we offered the past. Instead, we're focusing all our efforts on our living history and reenacting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do I need to do in order to participate?
A: Team Poppy reenacts the USMC in Vietnam. If accepted to the team, you'll need era correct gear.

Q: Do you have an age limit?
A: You must be 18 or over to participate.

Q: Do you rent/ sell guns or equipment?
A: No. The team is not a store. However, we have many contacts to get you set up right--the first time.

Q: How fast can my gun shoot?
A: AEG's may shoot up to 400fps, blank fire adapted rifles must be CA legal.

Q: How often do you host events?
A: We train monthly.

Q: Do you have medic rules?
A: Yes, "Corpsman" are used in our events.

Q: Can I camp after the event?
A: Yes, we encourage responsible camping. Pack out what you bring in.

Q: Bio bb's? Why?
A: We paly in National and State parks, with permits, we do not litter.
