Operational Order 2009-11-14
OPERATION COLD VODKA
Fictional Airsoft Event. Situation: The 6th Marines never left Iceland after WWII and the Soviet Union did not fall. As Europe falls, crack Soviet forces are taking every NATO base as they move west. Iceland is the last stand before the Americas.

FEE/DONATION: All funds will be donated to the MCHA, a nonprofit educational organization.
$30 preregister
$35 onsite

UNITS:
Soviets
6th Marines/NATO forces

LOGISTICS:
Operations will include:

- Recon Team Insertion
- Sweep/Clear
- Minefield
- Ammo Cache
- Fixed Positions
- Extraction

Independent Mission Orders for each evolution will be distributed out at the OP.

what time period is this?

We have made a switch to a mixed color uniform (od top/tan bottom) so what team would we fall under?

It's a fictional event. You can choose what ever side you like.

lol you won't be here! anyway...

Consider it a "modern" event for costuming purposes. However, any uniform will be accepted. Civilian clothes will not be accepted at this event.

So I guess due to the unconventional nature of our uniform, we're gonna be NATO special ops... or US special ops... or Iceland militia, or something. BLUEFOR, in any case.

I'm gonna post this on a couple other forums... Can we expect the ARG to show to this to act as the OPFOR?

not sure yet. Woody is planning a HUGE VN blank fire event and I can't imagine that he'd have any time to come out. However, I'll shoot him an email.

one of the reasons we enjoyed OP:DG was because we had an actual Soviet-based OPFOR to shoot at :[

here's a thought on the uniform breakdown, but its up to Roger on this

NATO/US:OD,MARPAT

Russian:Soviet BDU types,Tigerstripe,Woodland BDU

No civies for either side!!
