Sweet!

So I guess due to the unconventional nature of our uniform, we're gonna be NATO special ops... or US special ops... or Iceland militia, or something. BLUEFOR, in any case.

I'm gonna post this on a couple other forums... Can we expect the ARG to show to this to act as the OPFOR?

I'm going as a renegade Swiss mercenary. Trick or treat!

Looks like there are at least 10 going, according to this forum and the evite site.

I know 'ai-500' will attract many from the Bay Area, but I wonder about Fresno people and Diamond Corps? There's also some in Reno that might be coming?

Hello all- I'm glad that this is shaping up to be a well attended event. Please remember to pre-reg using the paypal on the website. It's $30 prepaid and $35 onsite. All proceeds go to Marine Corps Historical Assn (nonprofit) educational efforts.

If you don't want to use paypal, I still need a good head count. Please PM or email me. Thanks! :D

here's a thought on the uniform breakdown, but its up to Roger on this. NATO/US:OD,MARPAT Russian:Soviet BDU types,Tigerstripe,Woodland BDU.

Flecktarn vaguely resembles the Russian "partizan" camo, if you compare the two side by side. Of course, it's a newer camo, and the Soviets didn't have it.
I planned to bring OD and German Flecktarn, so I can go either side as needed. To blend in with 'mixed' uniform Soviets, looks like I need woodland and Soviet sniper pullover too. Roger, because of you--I have all these uniforms in my attic! I'm glad to see 'required' uniform policy loosening up; I can't afford to look like a soldier for any military force on the planet!

Hell, when are we going to have an OP with the Australian Special Forces Vs African War Lords in the deep dark humid jungle? I don't have a uniform to fit that scenerio, yet. Knowing Roger, the scenario will transform into USMC Vs South American Drug Lord's terrorist forces in the Andes Mountains! Sorry, didn't mean to give you any more crazy ideas...

I'm taking all my flecktarn gear, and a woodland/CCE backup (all I have that isn't desert).

Looked at the google map of the AO. This is going to be fun!
